Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters in Denton, TX is seeking a full-time Merchandising Team Leader to drive the store’s merchandising strategy, train and coach the team, and ensure adherence to AE/ Aerie brand standards. You’ll lead by example on floor sets, replenishment and guest experience.

As a key Leader on Duty and people leader, you’ll recruit, develop and performance-manage your team, sustain a guest-ready store, and partner with the Store Team Leader to hit KPIs and deliver outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail team in a store environment.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Ability to drive KPIs and guest loyalty through merchandising and service.
• Knowledge of AE/Aerie brand standards and visuals.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales as a Leader on Duty and optimize floor productivity.
• Coach and develop the team to meet brand standards.
• Maintain visual standards across zones and floorsets.
• Recruit, hire, and train new associates.
• Provide real-time coaching and performance feedback.
• Ensure guest-ready store and effective replenishment.
