Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters in Amarillo, TX is seeking a full-time Merchandising Team Leader to drive store merchandising strategy, train and coach the team, and ensure brand standards are met daily.

You’ll lead floorset execution, optimize replenishment, develop talent, and maintain guest-ready visuals while upholding store safety and company policies. This role requires flexible availability and a passion for AE & Aerie products.

Qualifications

• Experience leading retail teams to deliver brand standards.
• Strong communication, coaching, and guest service skills.
• Ability to multi-task with attention to detail and time management.
• Understanding of employment law and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales as a Leader on Duty by maximizing Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity.
• Develop short and long-term business plans to drive KPIs.
• Coach team to meet AEO Brand Standards in merchandising and guest experience.
• Lead day-to-day merchandising, replenishment and sell-through adjustments.
• Recruit and hire strong talent to meet business needs.
• Provide ongoing feedback via coaching, touchbases, and performance reviews.
• Maintain store safety, asset protection, and brand policies.
