Job summary

Belk seeks a Merchandising Team Lead to drive sales and deliver a premier customer experience through strategic product placement and visual execution. The role leads the team in floor sets, signage, pricing updates, and planograms while collaborating with omni, operations, and selling teams to meet store objectives.

The position is hourly with monthly bonus eligibility, requiring 1–3 years in Visual Merchandising or Retail Management and strong communication, tech comfort, and physical ability

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Visual Merchandising or Retail Management.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Regularly move around store areas and assist customers.
• Lift, carry and move at least 50 lbs; push/pull equipment up to 500 lbs.
• Proficient with smartphones, tablets and Windows OS.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and improve customer experience through attractive product presentations.
• Lead team in floor sets, planograms, signage and price changes.
• Collaborate with omni, operations and selling teams for execution.
• Oversee onboarding and development of associates; promote engagement.
• Coordinate weekly leadership planning; schedule merchandising tasks.
• Ensure accurate signing, compliance with directives and brand standards.
• Support stock replenishment and store recovery during peak periods.
• Operate omni/operations processes with safety and security compliance.
