Job summary

Belk is seeking a Merchandising Team Lead to drive sales and create compelling product presentations on the selling floor. The role guides the team in visual merchandising, floor sets, signage, pricing changes, and ensuring brand standards are met.

You will collaborate with omni, operations, and selling teams to achieve store objectives, manage daily tasks, and support customer experience with stock replenishment and store recovery during peak periods.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Visual Merchandising or Retail Management.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and move up to 500 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership and accountability in achieving store objectives and metrics.
• Lead team to execute product presentations, planograms, and brand standards.
• Assist with receiving and processing inbound deliveries for product readiness.
• Prepare signs and monitor daily promotional updates and price changes.
• Plan labor hours using manifests and directives to schedule tasks.
• Adapt tactics based on forecasts and business needs.
• Support onboarding and ongoing learning for associates.
• Engage the team to celebrate successes and foster a positive store culture.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with stock replenishment during peak periods.
• Lead store fulfillment support and adhere to safety and security procedures.
