Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering engaging shopping experiences. You will focus on merchandising, freight processing, and maintaining store standards, while assisting with opening/closing duties and safeguarding company assets.

The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, physical stamina, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Formación

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store to company standards (stockroom and sales floor).
• Process corporate directives (Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, Key Survey, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store (bathrooms, floors, trash, etc.).
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates.
• Assist Store Manager with: processing receipt/return of DSD merchandise, managing freight flow, stocking needs, including frozen & refrigerated, ensuring sales-floor effectiveness, planning merchandising, and monthly Sales Planners.
