Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team of associates and creating positive experiences for communities we serve.

You will focus on merchandising and processing freight, with responsibilities across store operations and customer interactions. This full-time role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and a drive to maintain a high-energy, team environment.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain store areas to company standards (stockroom and sales floor).
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Keep store clean, restocked and presentable.
