Job summary

Five Below is seeking a store leadership role in our Brownsville, TX location to oversee daily store operations and staff. The candidate will manage inventory, merchandising, promotions, and customer service to meet sales goals.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of management experience, strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Manages setup and maintenance of displays, ensuring accurate signage and promotions per resets and seasonal updates.
• Handles opening/closing procedures, cash security, door locks, alarms, and daily operations.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, supervising store operations, staff, and customer service.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates and ensures performance and standards.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses through merchandising, staffing, and service quality.
• Executes the market plan with product placement and signage per corporate guidelines; updates promotions.
• Ensures Inventory Integrity processes are followed.
