Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Clemson, SC is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and store operations excellence. You will lead truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, pricing changes, and visual standards to deliver a customer-ready store environment.

Responsibilities include SOP adherence, MOD coverage, floor leadership, and ensuring accurate promotions, stock, and signage. You will coach the team and support asset protection while maintaining daily store readiness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail leadership experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods, move around the store, and lift 25–50 pounds.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards and hold the team accountable.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution, inventory routines, and replenishment processes.
• Oversee planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment, RTVs, and ASN receiving.
• Train, coach, and develop team members.
