Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a part-time Merchandise Manager for our Mt. Pleasant, SC store to drive merchandising execution, pricing accuracy and store readiness.

You will lead truck processing, planogram sets, in-stock routines, and visual standards while collaborating with store leadership to schedule staff and ensure customer service excellence. Applicants with 3+ years retail leadership experience and a proven ability to manage inventory and SOPs are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Familiarity with SOPs and company programs.
• Strong workload planning and inventory management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and ensuring SOPs and Company policies are followed.
• Lead truck execution, including unloading, sorting and floor flow.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization (SISO) routines to maintain in-stock levels.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized store environment and backroom organization.
• Manage inventory accuracy, stock movements, and shrink reduction.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing development.
• Support Ship from Store fulfillment, RTVs, and ASN processes.
• Participate in Asset Protection practices to minimize loss.
