Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Manager for our Frisco, TX store to lead merchandising and daily operations, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards.

You will ensure accurate pricing, timely promotions, and a customer-ready store environment through strong workload planning, staffing alignment, and execution of in-stock and recovery processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience managing store operations and SOPs.
• Strong inventory control and planogram skills.
• Ability to supervise during evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in SOP adherence and company programs.
• Lead execution of policies, store conditions, and results.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, and merchandise flow.
• Plan workload and staffing alignment with store leadership.
• Maintain SISO routines for in-stock and replenishment.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual standards.
• Support a clean, organized store and backroom.
• Manage inventory accuracy and stock movement.
• Execute ad sets with compliant signage.
• Process price changes and ensure pricing integrity.
• Oversee ship from store and RTV/ASN processes.
• Manage shrink reduction and asset protection.
• Coach and develop team members.
• Partner in employee benefits and company programs.
