Michaels, The Michaels Companies Inc., is seeking a Merchandise Manager for a Texas store. You will drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to create a customer-ready store.

You will lead truck execution, workload planning, in-stock optimization, and price changes, while coaching team members and maintaining asset protection.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience
• Experience in merchandising, pricing and inventory management
• Knowledge of planogram execution and visual standards
• Ability to coach and develop store teams

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager and uphold SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure policy compliance and store conditions.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership.
• Lead truck execution and merchandise flow to the sales floor.
• Plan workload and prioritize daily tasks with store leadership.
• Maintain in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Support backroom organization and customer-ready environment.
• Manage inventory accuracy and stock movement.
• Execute ad sets and promotional signage.
• Coordinate Ship from Store fulfillment and RTVs/ASNs.
• Manage shrink reduction and asset protection.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and coaching.
