Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Manager on Duty to lead daily store operations in Dayton, OH. You will oversee stock receiving, merchandising, signage, and the opening/closing process, while ensuring exceptional customer service.

You will also manage associates, drive sales, and uphold corporate standards for inventory integrity and promotions. The role requires a minimum of 2 years in management and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock to ensure items are quickly and efficiently placed on the sales floor.
• Manages the setup and maintenance of displays for specific store sections, ensuring signage is accurate and promotions are highlighted per corporate guidelines.
• Manages opening or closing the store, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring a smooth daily operation.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, and customer service.
• Helps oversee daily activities of all store associates, ensuring effective performance and customer service.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and service.
• Executes the market plan by arranging products and signage per corporate guidelines and updating promotions.
• Ensures execution of company Inventory Integrity process.
