Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a proactive Merchandising Service Manager to lead a team of 11–21 associates across in-store projects and live goods merchandising. You will schedule resources, onboard and train staff, and mentor associates to meet performance and safety standards.

You will collaborate with field project managers, manage displays and planograms, and ensure efficient execution of merchandising programs while maintaining cost controls and high customer service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience accepted.
• 2 years customer service or retail experience in a fast-paced environment (or 1 year Lowe's store experience).
• 1 year experience as a team lead or leading others in an informal capacity.

Responsibilities

• Lead Merchandising Service team and manage resources for efficient project execution within the Merchandising Service strategy.
• Guide Merchandising Service Associates on project priorities, scheduling, and needs.
• Deliver onboarding and training, provide on-the-job coaching, and mentor MSAs.
• Coach MSAs on performance and create tailored development plans based on metrics and individual strengths/needs.
• Handle disciplinary actions and partner with HR as needed.
• Manage project, travel, display, fixture expenses and weekly payroll.
• Identify and resolve project or store-level issues using available resources.
• Summarize and communicate project information to store teams, field leaders, and corporate teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, merchandising, and displays for district/region-wide sharing.
• Lead team to merchandise live goods in garden centers and manage teams of 11–21 people.
• Collaborate with Field Project managers on large third-party labor projects when needed.
