Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join our Store Manager in guiding a dynamic team of associates and delivering positive experiences for the communities we serve. The role focuses on merchandising and processing freight to keep shelves stocked and inviting.

You will work with store leadership to manage daily operations, uphold safety standards, and ensure a friendly, efficient customer experience while maintaining company standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Capable of working in a high-energy team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and daily activities.
• Open and close procedures as needed.
• Protect company assets including cash.
• Maintain store areas to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and communications.
• Maintain clean, presentable store including bathrooms.
• Ensure safe, respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Assist Store Manager with additional duties.
