Job summary

Dollar Tree is looking for a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join our Store Manager in leading a dynamic team of associates and delivering positive community experiences. The role focuses on merchandising and processing freight.

You will assist with all store functions, execute opening and closing procedures, protect assets, maintain cleanliness, and foster a safe, respectful environment for customers and colleagues. You will support freight flow and stocking to meet productivity standards.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies, safety guidelines, and maintain store areas to company standards.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain store cleanliness and restock bathrooms and floors.
