Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to work alongside the Store Manager, leading a team of associates and ensuring excellent customer experiences. The role focuses on merchandising and processing freight, with responsibilities across stockroom and sales floor, while upholding company policies and safety standards.

You will assist in freight flow, merchandise ordering, and executing monthly plans to keep the sales floor effective.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, and bending.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Manage freight flow and stock merchandise needs, including frozen & refrigerated items.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the store.
• Provide positive, respectful interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
