Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team of associates. You will focus on merchandising, processing freight, and maintaining the sales floor and stockroom to Dollar Tree standards.

You will assist with all store operations, ensure safety and cleanliness, and help implement monthly Sales Planners while maintaining a positive, professional environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and written skills required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Open/close procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure store assets including cash.
• Maintain store cleanliness and restock as required.
• Process corporate directives and communications.
• Maintain sales floor and stockroom to standards.
• Create a positive, safe environment for customers and associates.
• Assist Store Manager with freight flow and merchandise needs.
• Plan and merchandise monthly Sales Planners.
