Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to work alongside the Store Manager in leading a team and creating positive experiences for customers. You will focus on merchandising and processing freight while assisting with day-to-day store operations.

The ideal candidate will have prior retail and management experience and strong communication skills, as well as the physical capability to meet the demands of the role.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
