Job summary

Belk, Inc. & Belk eCommerce LLC. is seeking a store leadership professional to drive merchandising and operations excellence across back-of-house and front-of-house functions.

You will lead receiving, replenishment, floor sets, and customer service while coordinating with selling and visual teams to maintain planograms and brand standards. With 3+ years in Visual Merchandising or Retail Management, you will coach teams, manage labor planning, and ensure inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Visual Merchandising or Retail Management.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership and accountability to meet store objectives and key metrics.
• Lead back-of-house operations: receiving, processing deliveries, prepping product for sales floor, outbound shipments, and store fulfillment.
• Coordinate organization of equipment, supplies, signage, fixtures, and tools to maximize productivity.
• Direct front-of-house operations: product placement, floor sets, replenishment, pricing, promotions, audits, and customer service.
• Collaborate with selling and visual teams to maintain merchandise presentations and customer environment per planograms and standards.
• Participate in weekly leadership planning meetings to align tasks with company priorities and processes.
• Use company systems and reporting to forecast receipts and required labor hours.
• Build team knowledge of merchandising, operations, and omni processes; train associates to execute consistently.
• Model a culture of excellence, teamwork, and results; set clear priorities and expectations.
• Recognize contributions to drive retention and engagement; celebrate store achievements and upcoming activities.
• Foster a positive store culture where team members feel valued and belong.
• Support filling open positions through recruitment and interviewing to maintain a ready-now bench.
• Oversee onboarding experience and ensure structured onboarding completion.
• Ensure shortage control and inventory accuracy with asset protection and safety protocols.
• This is an exempt position, with monthly bonus eligibility.
