Job summary

Belk, Inc. in the United States seeks a Merchandising Team Manager to lead a team across store operations, merchandising, and facilities.

You will drive product placement, pricing, and signage while coordinating with visual and selling teams to elevate presentations and the customer shopping environment. This exempt role includes involvement in inbound/outbound deliveries, inventory control, and labor planning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Visual Merchandising or Retail Management.
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and move up to 500 lbs.
• Proficient with Windows-based systems and store technology.

Responsibilities

• Own store objectives and key metrics through leadership.
• Lead back-of-house operations: inbound receiving, outbound shipments, replenishment.
• Manage front-of-house: product placement, floor sets, pricing, audits.
• Collaborate with selling and visual teams on presentations and planograms.
• Prepare weekly leadership workload plans and forecast receipts and labor.
• Coach and develop associates; manage onboarding and retention.
• Oversee asset protection and safety compliance.
