Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking a Merchandising Manager to oversee daily store operations, maintain selling floor presentation, sizing, recovery, and staffing while delivering a WOW shopping experience. You will model core values, build strong teams, and drive results across multiple departments.

The role requires 3+ years in retail management, the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and use of scheduling and reporting software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Retail Management experience in off-price, big‑box or multi‑unit retail.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes up to 40 lbs.
• Experience using scheduling and reporting software; some travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the store’s sales performance daily using available reports.
• Guide the Selling Floor Supervisor and receiving team to move merchandise efficiently.
• Coordinate promotions, floor sets and pricing accuracy.
• Oversee floor moves, displays and adherence to merchandising concepts.
• Assist the Store Manager with staffing, sourcing, training and succession planning.
• Communicate effectively with District and Regional Management.
