Job summary

Meijer in Dewitt, MI seeks a General Merchandising Lead to coach teams, optimize product presentation, and drive customer satisfaction. You will supervise daily operations, schedule writing, and ensure adherence to Meijer standards and training programs.

You will lead assortment, pricing, and display execution, mentor peers, and partner with store leadership to achieve sales and profitability while maintaining a safe, inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage shoppers to provide an exceptional shopping experience
• Communicate with team and assign daily tasks
• Mentor and coach team members to exceed sales goals
• Support training and cross-training of staff
• Assist in department scheduling to improve engagement and sales
• Ensure product freshness with rotation and dating checks
• Lead ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing, and displays where needed
• Operate cash register and powered equipment as required
• Participate in inventories and support cross-department leadership when needed
