Dollar Tree is hiring a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join our store leadership team in Westminster, CO. You will work closely with the Store Manager to lead a dynamic team and prioritize merchandising and freight processing to deliver value to communities we serve.

You will manage store functions, implement directives, and ensure a safe, friendly environment for customers and associates. This full-time role emphasizes teamwork, efficiency, and execution on sales plans.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Open and close procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including cash.
• Follow policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and communications.
• Keep store clean and presentable, including bathrooms.
• Provide positive, safe, respectful customer and staff interactions.
• Assist Store Manager with freight flow and merchandising.
• Plan and stock merchandise needs, including frozen & refrigerated.
• Ensure sales floor is sales-effective.
• Plan and maintain clip strips and power panels.
• Help implement monthly Sales Planners.
