Dollar Tree stores are seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join our team and work with the Store Manager to lead a dynamic group of associates. You will focus on merchandising and processing freight to ensure an engaging shopping environment.

You will assist with store functions, open/close procedures, asset protection, and adherence to safety and policies while maintaining clean stockrooms and sales floors. This role emphasizes teamwork and strong customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the store and restocking bathrooms.
• Ensure a positive, safe environment with professional interactions with customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
