Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to partner with the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering positive customer experiences. The role focuses on merchandising and processing freight, while supporting daily store operations and policy adherence.

Responsibilities include managing freight flow, stock needs, and ensuring a high-energy, safe environment for customers and associates.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet physical demands.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Plan and merchandise monthly Sales Planners and stock merchandise as needed.
