Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Part-time Merchandise Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering a positive shopping experience for the community.

You will focus on merchandising, freight processing, and daily store operations, while maintaining store standards, safety, and excellent customer service. This role requires physical stamina and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stay active during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Participate in opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Maintain store areas to company standards (stockroom and sales floor).
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and presentable environment for customers and staff.
• Support Store Manager with duties including freight flow and merchandise planning.
