Job summary

Marshalls in Deptford, NJ is hiring a retail associate to deliver a highly satisfying customer experience, ring up purchases, maintain the sales floor, and support merchandise and loss prevention standards. The role may be cross-trained across store areas to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Rings customer purchases/returns accurately and counts change back to customer according to established procedures
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows merchandising procedures and standards
• Accurately processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor
• Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and store
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
• Adheres to labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Supports shrink reduction goals and programs
• Participates in safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned
