Job summary

Total Wine & More in Florence, SC is seeking Store Team Members to support merchandising, curbside pickup, and delivery operations while delivering exceptional customer service. Internally, this role is referred to as Merchandiser and reports to store management; the position may include occasional front-end or sales duties as needed.

Responsibilities include stocking, building displays, processing freight, greeting customers, and participating in wine, spirits, and beer training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience, retail preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory, including processing freight, organizing and distributing inventory, pulling and stocking merchandise, building displays and end caps, placing signage, and supporting digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pick-up and delivery services.
• Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing about products and services.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment.
