Job summary

TJX Companies’ HomeGoods team in Oregon is seeking a store associate to deliver a high-quality customer experience and maintain a clean, organized store environment. You will engage customers, promote programs, and support store operations throughout shift work.

You will work with a diverse team, handle transactions, and help keep merchandise presented to standard. The role emphasizes flexibility, reliability, and strong communication in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Model and deliver consistent customer experiences for internal and external guests.
• Support a positive store culture with honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Process purchases and returns accurately and manage cash handling per procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs to customers.
• Uphold merchandising standards and prepare stock for the sales floor.
• Ensure merchandise is processed and looked after per company procedures.
• Assist in store recovery and maintain cleanliness throughout the day.
• Provide and receive feedback to and from team members and leaders.
• Follow labor laws, policies, and safety procedures.
• Support shrink reduction initiatives and safety awareness.
• Other duties as assigned.
