Job summary

TJX HomeGoods in the United States is hiring a store associate to deliver a high-quality customer experience, engage with shoppers, and keep the store clean and organized. You will assist in merchandising, promote credit and loyalty programs, and ensure accurate ring-and-change procedures.

• Retail customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers and upholding customer experience standards.
• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer according to procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintain merchandising philosophy and follow merchandising procedures.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor following procedures.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organizational standards and assist in store upkeep.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support shrink reduction goals and programs; participate in safety awareness.
• Other duties as assigned.
