Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. seeks a Merchandise Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering positive experiences for the communities we serve. You will focus on merchandising and processing freight while upholding store standards and safety protocols.

The role requires strong communication, interpersonal and written skills, with preferred retail and management experience. Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs, and operate in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Open and close procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Maintain store areas to company standards.
• Process freight receipts/returns and freight flow.
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective and merchandised.
