Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is hiring a Merchandise Assistant Manager to partner with the Store Manager in leading a team of associates and delivering positive community experiences.

You will focus on merchandising, freight processing, and daily store operations while upholding safety and policy standards. The role requires retail and leadership experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and work in a high-energy team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and daily activities.
• Open/close procedures as needed and protect assets.
• Process merchandise receipts and manage freight flow.
• Plan and stock merchandise to productivity standards and maintain sales floor readiness.
• Maintain store cleanliness and a neat, presentable environment.
• Support the Store Manager with monthly sales planners and merchandising efforts.
