Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team of associates and delivering positive experiences for the communities we serve.

You’ll focus on merchandising and processing freight to keep the store organized and stocked. You’ll assist with daily store operations, uphold safety and policies, manage stockroom and sales floor standards, and help plan monthly sales activity.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and written skills required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain store cleanliness and presentability.
