Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and ensuring great shopping experiences while focusing on merchandising and freight processing.

The role covers opening/closing, asset protection, store upkeep, and adherence to policies, with responsibilities extending to planning and stocking merchandise, managing freight flow, and executing monthly sales planners.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform related physical duties.

Responsabilités

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives and related store communications.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including restrooms, floors, and waste management.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Process receipt and return of merchandise, manage freight flow, and stock needs as directed.
• Plan and merchandise monthly Sales Planners and maintain clip strips and power panels.
