Job summary

Total Wine & More in Sugar Land, TX seeks a Merchandiser to maximize inventory, stock shelves, build displays, and support online orders and curbside pickup. You will greet customers, share product knowledge, and participate in wine, beer, and spirits training.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 1–3 years of retail experience, with familiarity with POS and inventory software. Flexible scheduling including evenings/weekends is expected, with a 21+ age requirement. Benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of retail experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory, including processing freight, organizing and distributing inventory, pulling and stocking merchandise, building displays and end caps, placing signage, and supporting digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pick-up and delivery services.
• Deliver exceptional service by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards and adhere to laws related to alcohol sale.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
• Load and deliver orders safely following policies and traffic laws if delivery is essential.
