Job summary

Total Wine & More is hiring a Merchandiser in Houston to maximize inventory, stock displays, and support online orders. You will engage customers, share product knowledge, and ensure a positive shopping experience in-store and via curbside pickup or delivery where required.

The role emphasizes flexibility in scheduling, adherence to alcohol sale regulations, and cross‑functional duties to support store operations. Prior retail experience and familiarity with POS systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience, 1+ years in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory, including processing freight, organizing and distributing stock, pulling and stocking merchandise, and building displays.
• Deliver exceptional service by greeting customers and informing them about products and services.
• Support digital business operations by fulfilling online orders and assisting with curbside pickup and delivery.
• Load and deliver orders safely, following company policies and alcohol-sale laws where applicable.
