Job summary

PepsiCo Inc. is hiring a Merchandiser in Hobbs, NM. You will stock shelves, rotate stock, and set up displays across local stores to ensure full shelves and proper promotions.

Hours are 6am to 4pm, Sunday through Thursday, with on-the-job training and opportunities to grow within the organization. The role includes lifting cases and driving between locations as needed, with a starting hourly pay of $19.70.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid U.S. driver's license with proof of insurance.
• Must have personal transportation to access multiple store locations.
• Willing to drive to various locations across geographic areas.
• May be required to work holidays.
• Ability to lift, load, push and pull cases 20–45 pounds repeatedly over a long shift.
• Bending, reaching and squatting are required.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise PepsiCo products in large format and local stores, stock shelves, coolers and displays as planned.
• Rotate product and check dates to maintain freshness, quality and in-stock conditions.
• Move product from backroom to the sales floor and keep stock organized and backroom neat.
• Build and maintain displays; set up promotional materials to support initiatives.
• Partner with store teams, communicate needs, build relationships, and use handheld tools to support orders and daily records.

What You’ll Do

• Merchandise PepsiCo products in large format and local stores, stock shelves, coolers, and displays to plan
• Rotate product and check dates to maintain freshness, quality, and in-stock conditions
• Move product from the backroom to the sales floor, organize stock, and maintain a neat, safe backroom
• Build and maintain displays; set up promotional materials (signs, banners) to support national and local initiatives
• Partner with store teams, communicate store needs, build relationships, and use handheld tools to support orders and daily records (training provided)

Minimum Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Valid U.S. driver's license and proof of insurance
• Must have personal transportation to access multiple store locations within assigned shift
• Position requires you to drive to various locations that are in different geographic areas
• Position may require you to work holidays
• Position requires lifting, loading, pushing and pulling cases weighing from 20-45 pounds per case repeatedly over 10-12 hour work period (with or without accommodation)
• Position requires bending, reaching and squatting (with or without accommodation)
