Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Merchandise Manager in Burbank to lead merchandising and store operations, ensuring accurate pricing, in-stock levels, and a customer-ready environment. You will drive planograms, visual standards, truck processing, and inventory routines while coaching team members and maintaining SOPs.

Responsibilities include overseeing stock flow, store-level promotions, RTVs, ASN receiving, and asset protection in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to stand long periods and lift 25–50 pounds.
• Experience with SOPs and company programs.
• Strong inventory control and planogram execution.
• Customer-focused with ability to train and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting, and flow to sales floor.
• Plan workload and daily tasks with store leadership.
• Drive Store-In-Stock optimization and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized store environment and backroom.
• Manage inventory integrity and stock movement.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with accuracy.
• Handle damages procedures and shrink reduction measures.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through onboarding.
• Partner with Asset Protection to maintain security and safety.
