Job summary

The Michaels Companies in NAMPA, ID is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and store operations, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. You will ensure accurate pricing, timely promotions, and a customer-ready environment.

You will support Store Manager in SOP adherence, lead in-stock optimization, planogram execution, backroom organization, and staff development while coordinating with leadership to align staffing and execution

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead truck execution processes with accurate unloading and flow to sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute and maintain Store-In-Stock Optimization to drive in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution to ensure merchandising sets are complete and on schedule.
• Establish and maintain visual merchandising standards and product placement.
• Support a clean, organized, customer-ready store environment including backroom and sales floor recovery.
• Manage inventory control ensuring product accuracy and proper stock movement.
• Coordinate ad sets with compliant promotional signage and product placement for customers.
• Ensure timely price changes and pricing integrity across floor and systems.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with proper documentation and inventory adjustments.
• Manage store damages procedures and shrink reduction with proper reporting.
