Job summary

Cavender's is seeking a dedicated Stocker to support store operations by stocking merchandise, keeping inventory organized, and ensuring the sales floor and backroom are clean, well stocked, and visually appealing. You will work with the team to prepare items for sale and uphold Cavender's standards.

This role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, attention to tagging, and collaboration for a smooth merchandise flow. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to stock and organize merchandise in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Must regularly lift up to 50 pounds throughout shift.
• Able to operate store equipment following safety policies.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• English reading comprehension and basic instructions.

Responsibilities

• Accurately stock merchandise to the sales floor and backroom following standards.
• Inspect merchandise tagging, labeling, and placement before stocking.
• Organize back stock and merchandise to maintain inventory accuracy and flow.
• Assist with processing transfers, special orders, and returns as directed.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe sales floor and backroom.
• Support merchandising projects and display maintenance as needed.
• Report safety or inventory concerns to store management.
• Assist customers by locating merchandise or directing to staff.
