Job summary

Cavender’s Beaumont is seeking a Stocker to support store operations by stocking merchandise, organizing inventory, and keeping the sales floor and backroom clean and well stocked. You will help prepare merchandise for sale and collaborate with the store team to ensure an exceptional customer experience and efficient product flow.

Key duties include stocking to planograms, inspecting items for tagging and placement, organizing back stock, assisting with transfers, returns, and merchandising

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately stock and organize merchandise in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to regularly lift, move, and position merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the work shift.
• Ability to safely use store equipment, including handheld devices, step stools, and dollies, in accordance with company policies.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on the needs of the business.
• Associate must be able to read and understand English.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Stock merchandise to the sales floor and backroom following standards.
• Inspect items for quality, tagging, boot pairing, and label placement.
• Organize back stock and merchandise to maintain accuracy and flow.
• Assist with transfers, special orders, and returns.
• Maintain a clean, safe sales floor and backroom, including housekeeping.
