Job summary

Cavender’s is seeking a Seasonal Stocker to support store operations in stocking merchandise, maintaining organization, and keeping the sales floor and backroom clean and well-stocked. You will assist customers, help with transfers, and participate in maintaining store presentation standards.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, operate generic store equipment safely, and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately stock and organize merchandise in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to regularly lift, move, and position merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to use store equipment safely (handheld devices, step stools, dollies) following policies.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Stock merchandise to the sales floor and backroom following standards.
• Inspect items for quality and proper tagging before stocking.
• Organize back stock and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Assist with transfers, special orders, and returns as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized sales floor and backroom.
