Job summary

Distinctive Promotions in Hampton, NJ, a women-owned boutique branded merchandise agency, seeks a Merchandise Production Assistant who is highly organized and detail-oriented. You will support the Senior Production Manager across product lifecycles, coordinate vendor and client communications, audit orders, and track milestones using MS Word/Excel; QuickBooks a plus.

The role is on-site in a professional office, Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, offering competitive pay, 401(k), PTO, and growth

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in business environments.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Ability to navigate conversations with vendors or clients professionally.
• Proven teamwork and multitasking capabilities.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel; QuickBooks a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help manage lifecycle of many products from manufacturing to doorstep, ensuring specs are met.
• Communicate clearly with global vendors and high-level clients to keep projects on track.
• Perform detailed audits of orders for accuracy in numbers, artwork, and logistics.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement quick, effective solutions.
• Use Microsoft Suite to track milestones and maintain meticulous records.
