Job summary

Goodwill Central Texas in Austin is hiring a Merchandise Processor who helps prepare donated items for the sales floor and supports a fast-paced retail team. You’ll start at $14.00 per hour and earn a raise after 60 days based on performance.

You’ll sort, price, and stage merchandise, help customers, and cross-train in other store areas, contributing to a mission that helps people access training and support in the community.

Qualifications

• Great attitude and team spirit.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment (lifting up to 30 lbs).
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to communicate clearly and follow directions in English.
• 6+ months of prior work, retail, or volunteer experience is a plus.
• Reliability and pride in a job well done.

Responsibilities

• Sort, hang, price, and prep donated merchandise for the sales floor.
• Identify boutique, brand-name, and vintage items—become a resale expert!
• Meet daily processing goals while keeping your area clean and organized.
• Transport merchandise to the sales floor and stock by category.
• Deliver friendly customer service and assist with donation intake when needed.
• Cross-train in other store areas to support wherever help is needed.
