Job summary

Anakeesta is seeking a Merchandise Operations Specialist in Gatlinburg, TN. You will handle item setup, data management, and PAR-level maintenance, supporting replenishment decisions with accuracy and analysis.

Responsibilities include PO entry, inventory counts, reporting, and data cleanup across store and warehouse systems. A detail-oriented approach and proficiency in Excel and inventory software are essential to ensure correct product information and optimal stock levels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in retail data entry, inventory, purchasing, receiving, warehouse operations, reporting is preferred.
• Proficiency with inventory and purchasing systems such as Eatec is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data organization, filtering, and analysis.
• Strong data-entry, accuracy, and attention to detail; understanding of PAR levels and cycle counts.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain SKUs for properties and merchandise categories.
• Enter and maintain product descriptions, costs, retail prices, pack quantities, UPCs, PAR levels, vendor information, and other item identifiers.
• Review information for missing details and errors before system entries.
• Enter purchase orders accurately and monitor open orders and delivery progress.
• Perform routine data cleanup and address discrepancies in records.
• Support cycle counts and inventory accuracy across locations.
• Analyze sales and inventory data to support replenishment decisions and markdown opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new store openings, product launches, and inventory initiatives.
