Anakeesta in Gatlinburg, TN is seeking an energetic Retail Associate to assist guests with purchases, operate the Point of Sale system, and stock merchandise. You will learn product knowledge and ensure accurate transactions while delivering friendly guest service.

Responsibilities include cashier duties, inventory stocking, and participating in meetings to adopt new sales techniques. The role requires flexibility for days, nights, weekends, and holidays in all-weather conditions.

Qualifications

• 16 years of age or older.
• Previous sales and retail experience would be beneficial.
• Experience with cash transactions and credit cards helpful.
• Experience in stocking and displaying products.
• Great customer/guest experience background a plus.
• Knowledge of and previous experience using Point of Sales.
• Ability to work with other team members and develop new skills.
• Able to work in all-weather conditions.
• Available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Salary Range: $16.00 Hourly

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 60 lbs.; can push, pull, grasp, lift, kneel, stoop, climb, balance, and reach overhead.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time on uneven ground.
• Must be able to safely lift, carry, and move materials independently and with team assistance when necessary.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, grasping, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and reaching overhead.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, including on uneven surfaces and stairs.
• Ability to safely handle heavy, bulky, or awkward items using proper lifting techniques and assistance as needed.
• Capable of working in a physically demanding environment with frequent movement and manual labor activities.
