Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution at a Michaels store. This role ensures accurate pricing, timely promotional execution, and a customer-ready environment through effective workload planning and inventory management.

Responsibilities include leading truck processes, planogram adherence, and visual merchandising standards while maintaining store conditions and adherence to SOPs. Strong leadership and team development are essential.

Qualifications

3+ years retail leadership experience.
Ability to implement SOPs and company programs.
Experience with inventory control and planogram execution.

Responsibilities

Lead truck execution, unloading and merchandise flow to sales floor.
Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and visual merchandising standards.
Maintain a clean, organized store environment and backroom organization.
Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and store leadership continuity.
Train, coach, and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
Partner to maintain strong Asset Protection practices and shrink reduction.
