The Michaels Companies MPHS-POPLAR store in Memphis, TN, seeks a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and store operations, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to ensure accurate pricing and timely promotions.

You will lead SOP adherence, manage staffing, and supervise stock flow from receiving to shelf, while maintaining a customer-ready environment and applying loss-prevention practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience
• Strong workload planning and inventory management
• Experience with SOPs and company programs
• Customer-facing store operations experience

Responsabilités

• Lead SOP adherence and ensure compliance with company programs.
• Ensure execution of store policies and standards, maintaining floor conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and sustain floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting, and merchandise flow to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to improve in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee planogram execution to complete merchandising sets on schedule.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and initial product placement.
• Support a clean, organized store environment including backroom and floor recovery.
• Manage inventory control, accuracy, integrity, and stock movement.
• Execute promotional ad sets with compliant signage and placement.
• Complete price changes accurately and on time to maintain pricing integrity.
• Oversee ship-from-store fulfillment and ensure accurate order processing.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with proper documentation.
• Manage store damages procedures and shrink reduction measures.
• Train and coach team members through onboarding and ongoing development.
• Partner to enhance Asset Protection practices and adherence to safety.
