Michaels in DET-COMMERCE TOWNSHIP MI is hiring a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. You will ensure accurate pricing and timely promotional execution, maintaining a customer-ready store environment.

The role requires strong workload planning, inventory management, and leadership of a team to deliver results.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards and accountability for store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty (MOD) coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting and flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute SISO routines to drive in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and ensure timely merchandising sets.
• Establish and maintain visual merchandising standards and initial product placement.
• Maintain a clean, organized and customer-ready store environment, including backroom and floor recovery.
• Manage inventory control, ensuring product accuracy and efficient stock movement.
• Execute and monitor ad sets, signage, and product placement for promotions.
• Complete price changes accurately and on time across the floor and systems.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment, ensuring accurate picking, packing and shipping.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with compliance and documentation.
• Manage store damages procedures and shrink reduction.
• Train and coach team members through onboarding and ongoing development.
• Support Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink.
