Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution in DET-MT. CLEMENS, MI. You will lead truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets and visual standards to ensure accurate pricing and timely promotional execution.

The role requires strong workload planning, in-stock management, and customer-ready store presentation to support sales growth. Night/early shift hours may apply, with benefits available per position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage adherence to SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance.
• Ensure execution of company policies and standards, maintaining store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Oversee truck execution, unloading, sorting and flow of merchandise to sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to drive in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Support a clean, organized customer-ready store environment including backroom and floor recovery.
• Manage inventory control, ensuring accuracy and proper stock movement.
• Execute ad sets, pricing changes and promotional signage.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and RTV/ASN processes.
• Manage shrink reduction and asset protection practices.
